Like any other browser-based password manager, Google password manager is a go-to for Chrome users as it is effortlessly easy to use and available as a default option for everyone.
Here is the good news for current users: Google password is even getting better. Google appears to be working on an all-new feature that allows users to send saved passwords directly via the browser.
This addition is revealed by @Leopeva64 – a frequent Chromium tipster on Twitter. According to this account, Chrome plans to add a ‘send password’ button in the three-dot overflow menu next to your password entry.
At present, Chrome already allows you to copy or paste passwords manually in a login field. It is likely that the new sharing feature will work on a similar approach but in a more seamless and secure manner.
A few days ago, a new option to add notes to saved passwords was live on Chrome Canary. It seems Chrome intends to make Google password manager as close to a full-fledged tool as possible.
The ability to share passwords is not available in any Chrome channel yet. We will keep you updated on the latest news, so stay tuned!
